http://www.marsh.net/If I had no idea what Marsh was, I wouldn’t understand it by looking at this page.  I would be able to see that it is a supermarket, it doesn’t showcase anything else that Marsh stands for.  Even after the advertisement at the top finally loaded, I still couldn’t understand what they were trying to say.

http://www.kroger.com/Pages/default.aspxThe Kroger home page makes their concept very clear right away.  The first thing I look at when the page opens is the pencil.  Then coupons for food show up underneath.  Clearly, Kroger is trying to  promote back to school for parents (moms).  The ad at the top is clearly meant for moms eyes to see because it advertises flu prevention for kids.

http://www.flowershop.com/I like this website because of the scroll on the left side.  You can shop by flower, which is really nice and you don’t have to go through what you don’t want to find what you do want!
