Even if the colors are supposed to reflect the products they are selling, it hurts the viewers’ eyes and looks unprofessional. Some of the icons on the main page looked like they were links, but it turned out that you can’t even click on them. The text overlaps the logos at some points and useless icons are just randomly scattered over the main page. The tabs that are located on the right also confuse me because my eye automatically looks for them on the left side, which is left blank here. The blinking lights are very distracting too.

http://www.sr.se/p1/src/sing/ Let them sing it for you
This website launches you to a player where you can type in whatever words, or sentences you want, and it sings it as a song for you. It basically lets you create your own song with your own lyrics, while it is using the words from very popular songs. If there is a word that the website cannot identify, it lets you submit the word and the song it is featured in, so that this particular word can be added to the vocabulary for future reference. Really fun and great studybreak.

http://zara.com/Even if the design of the website is very well done and matches well with whatever clothes you are browsing through; (if you click on casual clothing, the background already looks grungier compared to the regular women’s collection) I picked this website as a bad link because it is very confusing.-To look at collection you need to step by step look trough ALL of the clothes, there are no categories such as: tops, bottoms, dresses etc that way you can’t directly access what you are looking for.-It lacks information.-Confusing tabs, for example there is one that just says “inspiration”, which then leads to “color”, “volume” and “texture”…but what does that mean? And clicking on the link doesn’t clarify anything, I just get more confused.I never got to find out if I could purchase an outfit online or not; there seems to be no link or any kind of information if one can shop online at this site or just browse.I thought that one of the main reasons, why a clothing store has a website is so that their customers could shop online, but this does not seem to be the case here.

http://theovenreinvented.com/ a website advertising a new oven techology that allows you to virtually cook different kinds of dishes-all the necessary information is available-you can compare the time the new oven takes compared to the conventional time-depending on what dish you decide to cook, it automatically highlights the features in charge and that are needed to make that dish-you also have the option to see the finished dish-there is also a human chef interacting with you.I think this is a very successful website, because it functions the same way as the product it is advertising. The websites is as simple to use as the oven itself. The link between product an website is very clear and well made. If you know how to use the website to virtually cook a dish, you also know how to do the same on the actual oven.Really well done in delivering that message of simplicity to the user. After playing around on the website, it really made me want to purchase the product ![]()
